밴드 사운드 기반의 음악을 전개하는 뮤지션이자 모델로서의 활동을 전개하고 있는 umu(우무)는 2022년 3월, 첫 싱글 "Lost and Found"로 데뷔했다. 이후 얼터너티브 록과 포크를 트렌디한 사운드로 구현하는 것에 집중한 그는 2023년 5월에 두 번째 싱글인 "The Party Song"을 발매하며 향후의 행보를 암시하는 신호탄을 울렸다.
